During the month of Ramadan in 2016, we helped a friend to give away a piece of furniture. We realized that there were many families in Singapore who are in urgent need of furniture but do not have the financial means to get them.
Based in Singapore, Shareniture was started as a non-profit, socially-conscious initiative to promote the spirit of sharing, compassion and companionship.
Since then, we have been blessed to help more than 100 families - ranging from single parents to family who are unable to afford getting furniture due to their financial situation.
WHY SHARENITURE?
Our main focus is to promote the sharing of furniture and the kampung spirit among Singaporeans -
by giving furniture a new lease of life and families a new hope.
We are building a community that helps and supports one another, regardless of race, language or religion. A community that brings hope and inspiration through sharing stories of everyday people, and
shedding light on social issues that needs to be addressed.
